How to book a braider
1. Choose your style and customize it. Open the app and start by picking the style you want — box braids, knotless, cornrows, twists, etc. Then customize: size, length, color, and any add-ons. The total price and how long the service will take are shown as you go.
2. Pick a braider near you. We show the braiders available right now in your area, each card with photos of her work, her rating and reviews, and how far she is from you. Tap one to see her full profile.
3. Confirm details. Review the style, the price, and the address where you want the service (we use your home address by default — you can change it).
4. Checkout. Enter your card if it's your first time and tap Pay. Your braider gets a notification and confirms within a few minutes — you'll see the status update live.
Cancel or change my booking
myBraida is on-the-go, not scheduled. When you book, your braider is matched and starts coming to you right away — there's no "book her for next Tuesday at 3pm" option. So rescheduling doesn't apply: if your plans change, simply cancel before she accepts and book again later.
You can cancel only while the order is pending — meaning your braider hasn't accepted yet. Open the Activity tab, tap your active appointment, and use the cancel button. The card hold is released and you're not charged.
Once your braider has accepted, the booking is locked in: she's already on her way to you and may have turned down other clients. If you have a real problem, contact support — but expect that an accepted booking will be honored.
How payments work
At booking, your card is pre-authorized for the service amount — that's a hold, not a charge. Your bank may show it as a pending transaction.
When the service is complete and your braider marks the appointment as done, that's when the card is actually charged. Until then, no money has moved.
Tips are entirely optional. After the service you can add a tip from the order details — 100% of it goes to the braider.
Refunds: if you cancel before your braider accepts, the hold is released within 1–7 business days (depending on your bank). For refunds after a completed service, contact support — we look at every case individually.
Track my braider
Once you've placed an order, you'll see its status update live on the home screen and in the Activity tab. Here's what each status means:
Pending — the order has been sent to your braider. She has a few minutes to accept or decline. If she declines, you'll be matched with the next-best braider in your area automatically.
Coming — your braider has accepted and is on her way. You'll see her live position on the map, and an estimated arrival time updates as she gets closer.
Arrived & In progress — she's at your door. Once you let her in and she starts the service, the status moves to In progress. Order updates (e.g. extra add-ons) can happen here too — you'll be asked to approve any changes before they affect the price.
Completed — the service is done. Your card is charged at this point and you'll be asked to leave a review.
How to leave a review
Right after the service ends, the app prompts you to rate your braider — from 1 to 5 stars, with an optional comment. You can also add a tip on the same screen.
Reviews help other clients find great braiders, so even a one-line comment makes a difference. You can come back to add or update your review later from the order in the Activity tab.
Privacy and address sharing
Your home address stays private. We never share it with braiders or other clients. We ask for it only as a shortcut — to prefill your search location and as a base for in-app features. The address shared with a braider is the one you enter for the appointment itself, and only after she has accepted your booking. Before acceptance, she sees nothing about your location beyond the fact that you're somewhere in her service area.
Live location: you don't share your live position with the braider — only she shares hers, so you can see her on the way to you. Live tracking stops the moment she arrives — once she's at your door, the live feed turns off.

Delete my account
You can permanently delete your account from Profile → Account Settings → Delete account. We'll show you exactly what happens before you confirm.
30-day grace window: the moment you confirm, your account is hidden and you're signed out. You then have 30 days to change your mind — sign back in during that window to cancel the deletion.
After 30 days, your name, email, phone, photo and home address are permanently anonymized. Past orders and payments stay in our records for tax and legal compliance, but they no longer identify you.
Before you can delete: you'll be blocked if you have an order in progress or a payment still being held. Wait for those to finish, then try again.
